What started life as a series of theatrical experiments conducted in a warehouse has flourished over the past four years into one of the most exciting young ensembles that the immersive theatre scene has to offer. The Mechanics are pushing the boundaries of immersive theatre practices and philosophies while creating new theatre works and methodologies. The Mechanics’ influence is present in much of IMRSE’s work, just as IMRSE has been present in shaping, influencing and bolstering the burgeoning careers of these young artists.
